Meghan Chase has a secret destiny—one she could never have imagined…

Something has always felt slightly off in Meghan's life, ever since her father disappeared before her eyes when she was six. She has never quite fit in at school…or at home.

When a dark stranger begins watching her from afar, and her prankster best friend becomes strangely protective of her, Meghan senses that everything she's known is about to change.

But she could never have guessed the truth—that she is the daughter of a mythical faery king and is a pawn in a deadly war. Now Meghan will learn just how far she'll go to save someone she cares about, to stop a mysterious evil no faery creature dare face…and to find love with a young prince who might rather see her dead than let her touch his icy heart.

Calling all Twi-Hards! If you need (and I know you do) a new series to sink your teeth into, I've got it! I have not been so touched emotionally by a book since Twilight. This book has everything you could want in a book: multiple plot lines, intriguing characters, humor, wit, thrills, suspense, and romance. Move over Edward, there is a new heart throb in town.

This series may not have vampires and werewolves, but it has more types of fae than you could imagine. I don't want to give away any spoilers, but I will tell you the series gets better and better with each book. There are four books in all: The Iron King, The Iron Daughter, The Iron Queen and the Iron Knight. You will laugh, you will scream, you will cry.. and most likely self combust when you read some of the scenes...

Julie Kawaga has become my favorite author. She is able to incorporate so much with her writing. I love the fact that she can make it so easy to emotionally connect with the characters. This has become my favorite series. And the best part, she is planning a spin off series to be released sometime in 2012/2013 [The Lost Prince is out now as of Jan 2013] .. Whoo Hooo!!
