Aiden St. Delphi will do anything to save Alex.
Even if it means doing the one thing he will never forgive himself for.
Even if it means making war against the gods.

Stop the presses! Call in the dogs! The world has turned onto a new axis. I actually LOVED a novella! Of course, it would have to be Jennifer L. Armentrout to pull that off.

This little gem was jam packed with everything your heart could desire, and I mean that quite literally. I was absolutely amazed that Armentrout could wrench so much emotion out of me in such a short work of fiction. Breathtakingly open, raw and immersed in rich detail, we get a compact yet fulfilling story of what happens after Deity. If you are a fan of the Covenant Series, you DO NOT want to skip this novella. In fact, I think it is required reading with its power packed, crucial scenes.

What hit me in the gut reading this was the POV (Point Of View). Armentrout switched it up and we see what's happening from Aiden's POV. (A little fan girl moment here.... it was transcendental, life altering and if I wasn't already married I would throw a ring on his fictional finger!) Honestly, the entire novella was incredibly moving and incredibly informative. Many new insights and new developments happen and you need to make sure to read it!

I can't give away any spoilers, but let's just say Aiden is doing EVERYTHING he can to save Alex from loosing herself. There are several secondary characters that reveal startling news and by the end of the novella, the tension is so thick you need a chain saw to cut it.

I highly recommend this novella, but caution younger readers as there are sexual scenes and mild language.
