From C. C. Hunter, the bestselling author of the Shadow Falls series, comes Saved at Sunrise, an unforgettable new e-original novella.
Nestled deep in the woods, Shadow Falls is a secret camp where teens with supernatural powers learn to harness their abilities and live in the normal world.  But Shadow Falls is facing a problem that could finally expose them to the rest of the world.  Humans are showing up dead, and rogue vampires may be to blame.
Camp resident Della Tsang, who’s still coming into her own vampire powers, is assigned to help find those responsible. If she succeeds, maybe she’ll even land her dream job: working for the F.R.U., the enforcers of the supernatural world.  But when she sees that her new partner is a hunky shapeshifter, things get complicated.  Steve, too gorgeous to be trusted and capable of seeing through her tough-as-nails exterior, knows just how to get under her skin.  And only hours into the mission, Della realizes rogue vampires aren’t the only threat she’s facing. If she’s ever going to complete her assignment, she’ll need his help…but learning to trust him will be her hardest challenge yet.

**Laying out my mat to kneel before C. C. Hunter** Does she know how to write or what? With her books, there's never a dull moment. They're always filled to the brim with vibrancy, energy and emotion. Her characters grip you like super control top panties and won't let go. Hunter never ceases to amaze me with her extraordinary characters. In previous books, she had hinted about Steve, a shapeshifter that Della had denied being attracted to. In this novella, we get a fantastic visit with him and learn so much about him. I think he is my number two favorite character in the series and definitely now ranks as number one in the male category. He is so warm, caring, witty, brave and heroic. If I was in the book, I'd being chasing him like this:

Honestly, I just wanted to wrap him up and take him home. Sigh... OK, back to reality and getting out of fan girl mode.

Let's just be honest. Hunter knows how to deliver a fantastic story and she did she ever with SAVED AT SUNRISE. It is so rare to find a terrific novella. Most are dry, choppy or lukewarm leftovers from a series. This one had meat. It was hot, moist, flavorful and full filing. Complete and utter reading bliss. Hunter provides so much detail in concentrated form here. How delightful. It's not watered down at all. The pace flowed beautifully, the tone was spot on and it had its own story that still blended in with the overall story arch.

The beauty of it all is now we have some important nuggets of information to digest while waiting for the final installment (CHOSEN AT NIGHTFALL) to release next month. What I can tell you is that Della does a great deal of reflection on herself and her past. Unfortunately I can't tell you is if she made any life changing decisions from that. Sorry, I can't tell you or I'll blow the whole experience for you. :)

Needless to say I was blown away from the reading and I can not express how excited I am  (yet saddened) for the final installment. If you are reading this series, this novella is a MUST read. Hats off to C.C. Hunter for another fantastic story!
