Snack sized review of:
THE SEA OF TRANQUILITY
BY: Katja Millay
Here is a snack size review on this July 4th holiday. It seems fitting in some way that I finished the book on Independence Day, since the two main characters were trying to find theirs. Nastya and Josh (and Drew too) were all in search of freedom. From pain, from expectations, from loss. This book was so gut wrenchingly real, so brutally honest, so emotionally explosive that my soul felt squeezed into a pulpy mess. It was brilliantly written and flawlessly delivered. It really should be required reading. How do you deal with loss? Whether it is the loss of a loved one, the loss of innocence, the loss of your health or the loss of your future. It will make you think.... Hard. I highly recommend it.
I will post a longer review shortly.
